Representing Architecture Constraints in Ursa
نویسندگان
چکیده
Architectural features such as pipelines, instructions that use registers implicitly, and instructions that can be executed on any of several types of functional units require a tightly integrated instruction scheduler and register allocator. Such an integrated system can detect the interactions between the various problems that must be solved and therefore improve the use of available resources. In this paper we show that the resource requirements framework developed in URSA for unifying instruction scheduling and register allocation is powerful enough to represent the problems presented by these architectural features. Thus, all of the problems can be addressed in a uniform manner and in conjunction with instruction scheduling and register allocation. URSA's representation can also incorporate a new algorithm for assigning instructions to functional units to reduce interlock delays in pipelined multiple issue architectures.

Membership control (or access control) is a challenging problem in self-organized mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs), notably because these networks typically do not involve a centralized entity that is trusted by all network participants. Moreover, even if such a central authority exists, it not only poses the security threat of a single point of failure, but also impedes the scalability and avai...
متن کاملConstraints on the parameters of radiatively decaying dark matter from the dark matter halos of the Milky Way and Ursa Minor
Aims. We improve the earlier restrictions on parameters of the dark matter (DM) in the form of a sterile neutrino. Methods. The results were obtained from non-observing the DM decay line in the X-ray spectrum of the Milky Way (using the recent XMM-Newton PN blank sky data). We also present a similar constraint coming from the recent XMM-Newton observation of Ursa Minor – dark, X-ray quiet dwarf...
متن کاملP-212: Association between Polymorphisms of CTLA-4 Gene and Unexplained Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion in An Iranian Population
Background: Unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA) has been suggested being associated with the failure of fetal-maternal immunologic tolerance in which the regulatory T lymphocytes (Tregs) play a crucial role. Cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4) is expressed transiently on activated T cells and constitutively on Tregs. CTLA-4 interacts with the B7 cell surface molec...
متن کاملThe Low-Mass Stellar IMF at High Redshift: Faint Stars in the Ursa Minor Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy
Low-mass stars, those with main-sequence lifetimes that are of order the age of the Universe, provide unique constraints on the Initial Mass Function (IMF) when they formed. Star counts in systems with simple star-formation histories are particularly straightforward to interpret, and those in ‘old’ systems allow one to determine the low-mass stellar IMF at large look-back times and thus at high...
متن کاملCan the Decreased Expression of Human Leukocyte Antigen Class Ⅰ and Ⅱ by Spermatozoa Lead to Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion?
Background & Objective: Unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA) is defined as an unknown cause of occurrence of three or more clinically detectable pregnancy losses before 20 weeks of gestation, but it occurs presumably as a result of the immune system dysfunctions. We supposed that the disruption of semen or spermatozoa might be responsible for the dysfunction of the...
